The Georgia Center for Health Equality (GCHE) is a non-profit research and educational organization dedicated to the elimination of disparities in health and healthcare among racial and ethnic populations, socioeconomic groups and geopolitical categories (urban, rural and suburban).

The Center is a partnership between Emory University School of Medicine, Grady Health System and two historically black institutions - Morehouse School of Medicine and Clark Atlanta University.

Located in Atlanta, Georgia, the Center is in the area of the U.S. with the highest black-white healthcare disparities. From its Grady Memorial Hospital base, the Center conducts multidisciplinary research for the purpose of better understanding the causes of health disparities, and developing interventions that will address and eliminate those disparities.

Formerly known as the Grady Center for Health Disparities, the GCHE was initiated in 2003 with a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Additional funding for the Center comes from a variety of public and private entities.
