Educating tomorrow's physicians, scientists and social workers is critical to ending health disparities.

Beyond creating an awareness of the problem, our students must come to an understanding of its causes. As part of our multi-disciplinary approach to training, we offer support to students and faculty alike.

"As a P60 grant trainee, I have had the opportunity to attend and present at scientific meetings. My work on publications and research proposals has been aided by the use of a laptop computer provided by the grant. I have enjoyed meeting with Dr. Kimbro and Dr. Brawley to discuss my research and current research that's going on in my area of study. Moreover, I don't have to worry about working outside of school to pay graduate school expenses which enables me to concentrate on lab research and completing my studies. Thank you!"
