The leadership at Emory Winship Cancer Insitute is committed to caring for our patients with the most current treatments and comprehensive programs that treat mind, body, and spirit in a holistic way. Concurrently, we are keenly focused on the science, research, and new drug discovery that will be the treatments of the future.

We are working toward National Cancer Institute (NCI) status to become the first Comprehensive Cancer Center in Georgia. This demands rigorous standards be met for science and clinical research. Achieving this designation also requires effective collaborations among interdisciplinary teams within our organization as well as with other organizations in the region and the country. What this means to Georgians is improved access to clinical trails and resources available only at Comprehensive Cancer centers.These efforts reinforce our commitment to our community and those we are priviliged to serve.
