Announcement: 

OV100OV100-2Through funds provided by the Georgia Research Alliance we have purchased  a state-of-the art Olympus in vivo small animal imaging microscope. This microscope can visualize fluorescence in a living mouse from the cellular level to the tissue level without moving the mouse. We are currently the only institution in the Southeast with this technology and one of only eight across the nation.  

This microscope will serve as a joint parntership with Dr. David Martin's Transgenic Mouse Facility. It will be housed in the Transgenic Mouse Facility (Clinic B) to provide  efficient small animal handling and animal expertise.
